BEHIND THE BRAND AND CRAFT-LED COLLECTION
A DOCUMENTATION OF MY EXPERIENCE PAIRED WITH TEXTILE-FORWARD QUILT COLLECTION WITH A HERITAGE DRIVEN APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILTY

This Quilt Collection of handcrafted bed quilts draws directly from the brand's use of Godhadi - a heritage quilting practice rooted in the Maharashtra region of India.
Each piece is designed to celebrate the tactile richness, irregularity, and emotional weight of traditional Indian quilt-making, while reinterpreting it for a contemporary, design-conscious home.

These pieces are made to feel personal and lived-in, using fabrics from the customer themselves which were passed on by their mothers and grandmothers, each look reflects a balance between craft and functionality, soft structures, layered textiles, and subtle detailing that nods to the emotional value of handmade home textile.
It’s a quiet, intentional collection rooted in warmth, memory, and everyday ease.

GEOMETRIC
REPOSE

Where quiet comfort meets graphic clarity, Geometric Repose is inspired by the bold shapes of Bauhaus masters and the softness of Godhadi quilting from Maharashtra, this capsule collection brings two worlds into gentle conversation.

Each quilt in Geometric Repose carries a story. Many of the fabrics used were lovingly donated by customers—pieces once belonging to their mothers and grandmothers, saved over the years as keepsakes. These heirloom textiles are given new life through thoughtful design and hand-stitching. The rest are sourced from industry waste—cotton, poplin, brocades—rescued and repurposed to create something both beautiful and meaningful.

Layered with circles, squares, and clean lines in chalky pastels and grounded neutrals. There’s a calm rhythm with retro vibes and bohemian look to every piece, designed to feel just as at home on a bed as it would hanging on a wall.
This collection is a study in balance: structured but soft, thoughtful but lived-in.
